The study of millions nuances, that light reflects on African lands, is the starting point of Lumina, the new Sfizio SS22 collection, and emotion is the driving force of this new story. A new idea of glamour and contemporaneity tells about craftsmanship, typical of Italian know-how, reinterpreting it with exotic eyes, dense and charming to express the joie de vivre of this far and fascinating land.
White light, which is the sum of all colours, and black, their nemesis, act as the trade d’union of all the collection. The former is the colour of the summer par excellence: fresh, pure and contemporary. The latter -refined black-, full of charm and beauty, is represented on dresses made of three-dimensional fabrics and embroideries with a boho-chic touch. Their beauty is unconditional, while their encounter with light creates decisive contrasts.
The apparent minimalism is combined with strong colours, creating chromatic original plays. Natural colours, like butter yellow, jute and cocoa blend in a constant balance to create refined combinations. The intense colour of African land and the deep-ocean blue join up, creating dynamisms with a tribal flavour. Iris, amethyst, aloe and raspberry -a rainbow of colours- close the most holiday part of this chromatic itinerary.
Details and manufacturing, that take inspiration from traditional costumes of exotic culture, distinguish the collection. Long dresses with fluid volumes, garment-dye habotai silk and Sangallo cotton embroideries create a unique harmony between lightness and structure. Even maxi skirts become perfect canvas, through graphic elements of African inspiration and tie-dye.
The capsule “Sfizio Night Lab” is reproduced again this season, to celebrate creativity and femininity: cool and colourful prints the recall antique graphics, almost ancestral, are overwhelmed by modern pigments, in order to give an intense allure to every special occasion.
